Perhaps you find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, struggling with anxiety, people-pleasing, fear of rejection, low self-worth, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. You may understand some of these patterns already but still find it difficult to change how you feel or respond.

I am an integrative, attachment-focused therapist, specialising in relational trauma. I work with adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, particularly how early relationships and experiences may continue to influence the way they feel about themselves, connect with others and respond to closeness, conflict, or rejection.

I support people experiencing relationship and family difficulties, attachment wounds, relational trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, parenting challenges, loss and recurring relationship patterns. I also welcome counsellors and trainee therapists seeking personal therapy as part of their professional training and development.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and relational. Together, we can explore the attachment patterns and ways of coping you may have developed through your relationships and experiences, helping you understand yourself with greater compassion.

I also pay attention to the mind-body connection and nervous system, recognising that emotional and relational trauma can be held not only in our thoughts, but in the way our bodies respond to situations that feel unsafe. By gently working with these responses, therapy can help you develop a greater sense of safety, process difficult emotional experiences and, over time, respond differently rather than automatically falling back into old patterns.

At the heart of my work is the relationship we build together. I believe that feeling safe, understood, and accepted within therapy can be an important part of healing. I offer a warm and genuine space where you can explore yourself without judgement and at a pace that feels right for you.

Therapy can help you make sense of your past without being defined by it, develop greater compassion for yourself, and begin to feel more secure within yourself and your relationships. As old patterns become more understandable, there can be greater freedom to respond differently, build healthier relationships, and move towards a life that feels more connected, meaningful and authentically yours.

If you feel that my approach resonates with you, I would be very happy to hear from you.
